SAXE LAW News & Notes
David Saxe approved for placement on list of Cook County Domestic Relations Division’s court-certified mediators.
Governed by Cook County Circuit Court Rule 13.4(e)., mediation is required for parents in conflict over allocation of parental responsibilities, relocation, and other non-child support issues. Parents in Cook County who cannot agree on a mediator are referred for mediation to Family Mediation Services.
Mediation also may be ordered by the Court for non-child related issues such as disputes over money. If the parties cannot agree on a mediator for non-child related issues, the Court will choose from the list of court-certified mediators.
